Semi-welded heat exchangers are a special type of exchanger used for heat transfer, combining the features of both welded and plate heat exchangers. They are typically employed in industrial applications and systems requiring high performance.

Plate packs are formed by laser-welding two separate plates flat onto each other. By inserting gaskets between each plate pack during assembly, this exchanger model offers the advantages of a traditional gaskets plate heat exchanger while also being suitable for applications where leak-tightness is critical.
